Life Really Does Work In Mysterious Ways

Sometimes life has a funny way of hearing you. This was my status June 3rd of last year...I was on my way to a bonfire and I casually/humorously said that a cute boy would make it perfect. Little did I know that the Universe/God heard me and decided to give me Randy So the next time I whine about my prayers being unanswered, or life being unfair. I'm going to remember that sometimes everything that SHOULD be given to you IS given to you! ♥ I love you babe, and I'm so thankful that the Universe decided that my Facebook status was THAT important. See...Facebook ISNT silly!

 

My Favorite Beauty Products:

1. Maybelline Volume Express One by One Waterproof Mascara Blackest Black -  I've spent crazy amounts of money on Mascara, like once I even spent $50...womp. I fail. However one day I needed some ASAP, so I went into the drugstore and grabbed this little fella thinking I would never use it again. Little did I know it would become my best friend. It's amazing! Seriously my lashes go VOOM!
2. It's A Miracle 10 - This is a leave in hair conditioner that you can pick up at any local hair salon, its worth every single penny. It leaves my hair feeling so soft and repairs any kind of heat damage

3. Kat Von D - True Romance Palette in Ludwig - I have used this since it first came out, I've replaced it twice over the years, and I'm literally petrified of the day where it's no longer available. The product goes on effortlessly, it's smooth and has just the right amount of shine. Plus the colors are great for day or night.

4. MAC Bronzing Powder - This gives me that sunkissed glow year round, it's a little pricey but I haven't found another bronzer yet that I like better.

5. Tarte Lipsurge Tints - Okay. These are the best lip tints ever. EVER! I own about 4 of them but my favorites our Amused and Spirited. They are the perfect "just bitten" shades.

6. Plain old Jane Strawberry Chapstick....except it's not just for my lips. I apply a little bit of this to the apples of my cheeks for that fresh dewy look. It's wonderful and looks soft, and doesn't give me that overly powder look that a lot of blushes do, and isn't as heavy as a cream blush.

High Five For Fridays!

1. Randy truly is the very best blessing I've ever received.

2. I've been DigitalScrapbooking like a fiend. I need therapy!

3. Yesterday was so slow at work that Tina and I went to Target and got crayons and coloring books.

4. I'm obsessed with microwavable pizza. Especially since it's horrible for me!
5. My dog MUST sleep with his legs completely spread. His little package of goods on display for everyone.


So much to be happy for!

Thankful Thursday

So I had a rough night with the Mister.
His cousin John returned home from the Middle East, and I understand they wanted to celebrate, but I had to work in the morning, and being kept up till 5:30AM with their ruckus...well it made me not a very happy person.

But then I remembered it's THANKFUL THURSDAY.
And lemme tell ya counting your blessings definitely changes your mood :)



I had Chick-Fil-A breakfast!
I don't care in the slightest that it was bad for me.
It was delicious.

Sushi Exist.
As you can tell from this picture, I'm a little obsessive about Sushi.
So I'm so very thankful that Sushi exist!

So I've been creating my own Iphone cases!
All I did was buy a clear iphone case off Amazon (.80 cents!!)
And then I made these super cute cases using digital scrapbook items!
Now I will never get bored of a case :)

So I'm thankful that God made me creative

So Randy's mother around Christmas saw a sign that had this same saying on it and she had really wanted it, however it was like $50 bucks and I couldn't swing it. I felt really bad, but that is life.
Then this week I was at Hobby Lobby (my favorite store) and I found it for $11 bucks!!
Life is Grand

Went out on the boat this weekend with friends.
So thankful I have an amazing network of friends.

This would be my Pop and my cousins little baby boy.
I am so thankful that my family is so close, and that we get to experience all these wonderful moments together.

It's That Time Again!

1. My co-worker Tina brought us these adorable little squashes, I thought they looked like little ghost, so naturally I had to decorate mine. They make me super excited for Fall!

2. CANDY. Randy and I scored some pretty delicious treats the other night...I may or may not have devoured it.

3. We got our Boe-boy a swimming pool! It has just been unbearably hot and we feel so guilty for leaving him outside during the day in it
4. It was our Anniversary on Weds, I was sick unfortunately :( but Randy made it special nonetheless, and we exchanged our handwritten cards to each other
5. The clouds the other evening were insanely beautiful, I couldn't help but try and capture them. Nature does some pretty lovely stuff!
